Christopher Noe is a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management and specializes in financial accounting and corporate finance. He currently teaches “Business Analysis and Valuation Using Financial Statements” which examines a company’s profitability and riskiness by means of financial statement data. Prior to joining the faculty at MIT Sloan, Dr. Noe was a Vice President at Charles River Associates (CRA), and had taught at the Harvard Business School (HBS). In addition to his published peer reviewed articles and MIT Sloan and HBS Case Studies, he has worked on litigation matters involving valuation of business enterprises, financial securities, and specific assets/liabilities; financial statement analysis; examination of accounting restatements; solvency assessment; and damages estimation. Dr. Noe has served as an expert witness in state and federal courts, arbitration matters, and SEC enforcement actions.
Dr. Noe holds a PhD in accounting from the University of Rochester.
