Taylor Nadauld is the H. Taylor Peery Professor of Finance and Chair of the Finance Department at Brigham Young University. His research focuses on private equity, consumer credit, fintech, student loans, and banking. Professor Nadauld currently serves as an Associate Editor at the Journal of Finance and has published papers in the leading scholarly journals of financial economics. He is currently Chief Economist of nCino (NASDAQ: NCNO), a publicly traded FinTech that provides online banking services. Professor Nadauld also currently serves as Chairman of the Board for FS MVP Private Markets Fund, an SEC-registered private equity fund, and on the Governor’s FinTech Advisory Council for the state of Utah. Professor Nadauld began his career at Goldman Sachs in the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division and the U.S. Macroeconomic Research Group and he has been a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Professor Nadauld earned his PhD in Finance from The Ohio State University.
